Umayuru Gets a New Anime This September

The Umamusume: Pretty Derby franchise is getting another anime this September.

Umayuru Full Gate! has been announced as the next short-form anime in the franchise, with episodes running for just three minutes.

When Will Umayuru Full Gate! Premiere?

Umayuru Full Gate! is scheduled to debut in September 2026 on the official Umamusume YouTube channel.

The new visual has also been revealed, while the production team has confirmed AtoriE as the animation studio.

The exact premiere date has not yet been announced.

What Makes This One Different?

Unlike the more dramatic storytelling of Umamusume: Cinderella Gray, Umayuru Full Gate! will take a much more playful approach.

The series follows the short-form style previously used by the Umayuru anime, making it something fans can watch in just a few minutes per episode.

The franchise's existing voice cast will also return for the new project.

Episodes will additionally be released with English, Korean and Traditional Chinese subtitles, giving international fans a chance to follow the new shorts from the start.

A Quick Return to the Umamusume World

Umayuru Full Gate! isn't replacing the main Umamusume anime projects. Instead, it works as another lighthearted entry in the franchise.

For fans who enjoy the characters and comedy side of Umamusume, the September release gives them another reason to return to the series while waiting for larger projects.
