Magic Repo Man Sets October Premiere

A new anime is preparing to enter the Fall 2026 season with a rather unusual revenge story.

Magic Repo Man: Dumped by My Party, I'll Cash In With a Cute Support Fairy to Become the Strongest! has officially set its Japanese premiere for October 4, 2026, while a new key visual has been released.

The announcement also adds Risae Matsuda to the cast as Linka.

Lent Isn't Giving His Magic Away Anymore

The story follows Lent, a kind-hearted adventurer who possesses an extremely rare Gift called Mana Vault.

His ability allows him to lend his own magical power to other people.

Lent uses that ability to support his childhood friends after they form an adventuring party called the Skycleaver Sword.

The problem is that while his companions become stronger, Lent himself doesn't appear to grow.

Eventually, the people he helped decide that he has become useless.

They throw him out of the very party he helped build.

That's when Lent's Gift evolves.

His Ability Has a Hidden Second Side

After being betrayed, Lent discovers that his ability isn't simply about lending magic.

It can also forcibly reclaim the magic he previously gave away.

That changes everything.

The people who once depended on Lent's support suddenly become targets of his new power, while Lent can use the recovered magic to strengthen himself.

What begins as a story about a discarded support character therefore turns into a revenge-driven fantasy adventure.

The New Key Visual Sets the Tone

The newly revealed visual places Lent alongside his fairy companion Empee, while other important characters surround them.

It gives a better idea of the group of characters Lent will encounter after leaving his former party behind.

The contrast is particularly interesting: Lent starts the story as someone who is treated as worthless, but his supposedly weak Gift may actually be one of the most dangerous abilities in the world.

A New Cast Member Joins

The latest announcement introduces Risae Matsuda as Linka.

She joins the previously announced cast:

• Emiri Kato as Empee
• Daiki Hamano as Guy
• Akira Sekine as Misa
• Yu Kobayashi as Elle
• Risae Matsuda as Linka

The anime is being directed by Takahiro Tamano, with Ryusuke Mori handling series composition and Kazue Mori responsible for character designs.

SynergySP is producing the animation.

When Does Magic Repo Man Start?

Magic Repo Man will premiere in Japan on October 4, 2026.

It will air on TV Asahi's nationwide 24-station network in the NUMAnimation programming block, with BS Asahi also carrying the series.

International streaming information has not yet been fully announced.

The manga has already surpassed 2 million copies in circulation, giving the anime a substantial audience to introduce the story to when the Fall season begins.
